This week’s open mic night had a very chill vibe, despite the large crowd.

Lots of performers showcased slower songs, but there were a few upbeat tunes and a powerful spoken word piece thrown into the mix.

The Hornet’s very own J.P. Dabu had the audience cheering with his soulful rendition of “This Guy’s In Love With You” by Herb Alpert.
