Every year during the month of December our campus welcomes the children of CARE and Cal-WORKs students, the children, or little angels, enjoy an afternoon filled with holiday activities.

The Adopt an Angel event is designed to help low income single parent families during the winter holiday season. These single parents are full time students juggling the demands of school and providing for their children. As a result, EOPS and the CALWORKS programs developed to provide assistance for these type of students during the holidays.

This year the event will be held on Friday, December 13th. Students and their children are treated to a wonderful holiday party, which includes kid-friendly food, face painting, crafts, holiday sons, and even a Santa Clause to ensure each child receives presents.

CARE and EOPS dedicates many hours serving students in order to ensure that they receive the best service available.

Adopting angels will start on Wednesday, Nov. 6th, and gifts are to be dropped off starting Dec. 2nd through the 10th.
