Fullerton College LiveWire will host their biannual Open Mic Night on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the college center.
FC LiveWire is an online literary and arts journal that publishes original stories, poems, art and music that reflects what the community of Fullerton College is about.
The event is free admission for all and open mic sign-ups begin at 6:30 p.m.
The FC publication webpage expresses the purpose of LiveWire, emphasizing that the publication is not only about a platform for students to voice their experiences and talent, but an outlet that helps students grow in that area.
Each year for the spring and fall semesters, LiveWire has invited and encouraged all students to come out and support those with an unheard talent and the love for expression of ideas, art and even personal experience.
The biannual event has been a success in previous semesters not only in number of audience but its interest in participation. The evening will not focus on different viewpoints of politics, hate or disagreement but on the support of the creativity of FC students.
