The holidays are right around the corner and what better way to celebrate the season than with the sweet tunes of Christmas. FC Concert Choir will present their annual holiday concert at the FC Campus Theatre this Friday, Dec. 1.
“You can be sure to expect an evening of fun Christmas music, and a chance to see all four of our choirs collaborating and get a glimpse of the great talent they all have,” said Nicola Bertoni, FC Conductor and assistant professor.
A tradition that has been standing strong for twenty years makes its way for another swing this upcoming Friday.
Audiences will be taken down a road of historical and traditional melodies that will be sung in latin, but will also encounter the classical christmas songs thay are popular in today’s culture. All in all, a variety of generes and eras will be there for everyone to enjoy.
The 70-person concert choir, which is under the direction of Bertoni, has been rehearsing and prepping for this long standing tradition for more than a month now.
Tickets can be bought at the box office from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or by phone. General admission for the choir concert is $10 with discounts offered for children, students and seniors.
