The third annual CommUNITY Day has arrived here at Fullerton College.
The event will begin on Tuesday Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at the FC Quad. There will be music, featured art, and a variety of organizations.
CommUNITY Day is a time where students can gather to learn about all the different clubs and volunteer opportunities that Fullerton has to offer on and off campus.
In addition to welcoming new and returning students to campus, CommUNITY Day will be celebrating Black History Month.
“We here at Fullerton College have a plan for us to foster relationships with our community and I really wanted to showcase this day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King jr.’s call to volunteer,” said Vincent White, Cadena Cultural Transfer Center coordinator.
There will be a community board with information regarding volunteer opportunities and clubs for students to sign up.
This event will give attendees insight on how clubs and organizations emphasize the importance of community and unity.
