The Cadena Transfer Center will be hosting activities to assist students looking to transfer to four-year universities, starting Monday, Oct.14.
UCLA representatives will kick off the first day with a presentation on the fears felt during the transfer process. This presentation in Room 212 from 2-3 p.m.
On Tuesday Oct. 15, UC Berkeley will have an online presentation about their campus in Room 212 from 4-5 p.m.
A multitude of representatives from universities across the country will be at the College Fair Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the quad. Students can take this opportunity to ask questions about transfer requirements, learn the application process and explore what universities offer their major.
A UC Berkeley’s Admissions Panel will also be held on Wednesday in Room 212 from 2-3 p.m., to discuss transfer opportunities to their university.
On Thursday, Oct. 17, staff from the Cadena Center will host a presentation in Room 212 from 2-3:30 p.m. discussing the transfer process to a CSU and UC, followed by a Q&A session with a counselor.
At 3 p.m. in rooms 224, the communications studies department will host a presentation regarding communications programs at local universities.
UCI Medical students and a UCI Medical School Counselor will discuss pathways into medical programs on Friday, oct. 18. The discussion will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 410.
Currently the Cadena Transfer Center is still accepting sign ups for their transfer application workshops being held in early November.
Transfer Awareness Week will be an opportune time to receive answers for any sort of transfer-related questions.
