Fullerton Police responded to an altercation near the Fullerton Transportation Center and found one man stabbed on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The call came in at 9:56 a.m. that an altercation had occurred on Santa Fe Street. Lieutenant Jose Arana stated that the victim is a white male and had multiple stab wounds.
The unidentified victim was sent to UCI Medical Center in Orange. He was reported to be in serious, but stable condition. The victim is expected to survive.
According to the Fullerton Police Department, the on going investigation indicates that multiple male transients are involved with this altercation and assault.
Upon arrival witnesses started pointing at a group of people and only one suspect was found and taken into custody. Identity of the suspect was not released.
At the scene a police officer was seen taking pictures of evidence connected to the stabbing. A cleaning company called Aftermath Services was also seen scrubbing off blood on the side walk, guarded by a police officer.
Multiples streets where closed by police officers, but later after the investigation was completed, the streets opened up and buses resumed on Santa Fe Street.
This investigation is on going with the search for other suspects connected to the crime.
