The FC art gallery has opened the spring 2020 season with a showcase of Latin American artists with the exhibit, Instruments of Change: Compendium.
The opening exhibit features Latin American artists who use their local surroundings as a canvas for their artwork. The usage of an unconventional canvas is an emerging urban art movement that Fullerton is showcasing.
The exhibit is now open and will run until Wednesday, Feb. 19 and entrance into the gallery is free for everyone.
The gallery is located in room 1004 and hours are Monday through Thursday at 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. The gallery is closed on Friday.
The gallery will be open on selected evenings available on Feb. 5, 10 and 18 from 6-8 p.m.
The Fullerton Museum Center is also hosting a complimentary exhibit; Instruments of Change: An Exploration into Latin American Urban Art. This showing features eight wall murals from Latin American artists and will show until Feb. 23.
