All spring 2020 concerts, events and plays on campus have been postponed for the semester due to covid-19.
The postponements have left a lot of students and faculty wondering what will be open or which events are canceled indefinitely.
Due to the campus closure that began on began on Mar. 13 and Fullerton switching to remote learning, the Art Department’s artist in residence exhibition was closed early. April Bey’s “Welcome to Atlantica,” was scheduled until Mar. 30, and included lived demonstrations by the artist.
The art gallery will remain closed until further notice.
The Theater Department’s annual high school festival has been canceled. The event was to take place on Mar. 19 and 20. The event has been a fundraiser for the department budget for the next school year.
Music Department events, instrumental and vocal performances have also been postponed.
This includes both symphonic winds concerts that were scheduled for the spring semester.
There has been no update on new dates for any of the events. The Fine Arts Division is refunding tickets purchased for events as well as their scheduled spring musical, “A Chorus Line.”
