The Thursday Farmer’s Market is returning to the Downtown Fullerton Plaza just outside the museum starting Mar. 26 and will be from 4 – 7:30 p.m.

This Farmer’s Market runs every Thursday from April – October located just off Pomona Ave and Wilshire Ave. With the spread of Covid-19 and the City of Fullerton following the guidelines set out by Gov. Gavin Newsom, the Farmer’s Market is altering how it will be run.

Per their Facebook post on Mar. 23, they stated the Market will be produce only. They are encouraging market-goers to follow social distancing standards all while growers will be using gloves and having all their produce being pre-bagged. The usual tasting and samples that are given will not be allowed until further notice. Public restrooms will be available and with monitoring from the city custodial services.

Additionally, those in charge of the Farmer’s Market are requesting the market-goers only touch what they are intending to buy as to help further prevent the spread of Covid-19.

This Market is a good opportunity for local students and faculty to still get fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, flowers and bread without having to go to crowded grocery stores that have been heavily impacted in the last week.
