Photo Essay: Pumpkin Run raises money for local neighborhoods and schools

On Saturday, Oct. 28, the annual 5K Pumpkin Run brought communities together through the spirit of Halloween.

The annual OC United Pumpkin Run has been a cherished tradition in Fullerton for the past six years, fostering a sense of camaraderie that bridges multiple communities through a fun event. Each year, the run kicks off on the scenic Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail, with participants sporting costumes to showcase their Halloween spirit. The proceeds from the Pumpkin Run directly contribute to supporting local neighborhoods and elementary schools. These funds are allocated towards valuable extracurricular activities, including after-school programs that provide a safe space for children to feel appreciated. They can engage in various enriching activities, ensuring that they have a supportive environment in the event that no one is available to pick them up.
