Fullerton College hosted California State University, San Marcos for a men’s basketball scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 18.
The game tipped off at noon in the Hornet Nest. While it was just a scrimmage, the Hornets jumped out early and never looked back. Fullerton was up on the Cougars by 26 points at halftime, and ended up winning the game, 69-51.
Freshman guard Anthony Smith Jr. and sophomore guard Christian Watson led the Hornets in scoring with ten points each.
The Hornets will take the court in their official season opener on Friday, Nov. 1, when they visit MiraCosta College.
