As the fall semester comes around, softball is in its offseason. Still, the the Fullerton College softball team are honing their skills and preparing themselves for their upcoming season with a fresh roster of players.

The Hornets won their second 3C2A state title and first championship last season. The reigning champions had their first home off-season game Oct. 25, 2024.

Though the Hornets came up short, head-coach Marian “Speedy” Mendoza said, “It’s a whole new roster. We have 22 freshmen and multiple starters from last season. All these players have great talents and we look forward to another great season.” She mentioned that the Hornets are anticipating more wins and great plays this upcoming season.
