Singles Awareness Day or as others refer to as a Valentine’s Day. This day is probably one of the worst days for singles, following not having a kiss when the ball drops on New Years Day.
Every girl wants to be wined and dined on Feb. 14, but let’s face it, if you’re reading this that’s probably not happening. There’s still hope for having a successful Valentine’s Day.
Women more often than men care about this Hallmark holiday. So for all the single ladies out there here are a few suggestions.
Go throw on some miss-matched pj’s and get ready for the best single Valentine’s Day.
Have you ever heard of Galentine’s Day? Gather up your favorite gal pals and stay in for the night. Cry over your favorite episodes of “Sex and the City” while sipping on a glass (or bottle) of wine.
Obsess over your favorite celeb couples as you flip through every issue of Seventeen (yes, you still get Seventeen, don’t deny it).
Eat all of your favorite junk food and then cry about it, because why not? If you and your girls are against Valentine’s Day, then have an anti-Valentine’s Day party like you’ve always wanted to do, hile watching the movie “Valentine’s Day.”
Enough of the sad, sad night. Bust out the karaoke machine and sing at the top of your lungs all night. With music comes dancing, you’re never too old to have silly dance parties with your girlfriends. Even though you don’t have your dream man by your side (yet) you can still make this a night to remember.
What about for the Guys? Some of you are probably wondering what to do.
Well, the options are pretty simple. Order some pizza, get some beer and call the bros over and start planning your teams for fantasy baseball, play FIFA or Call of Duty on your Xbox or go outside and shoot some hoops.
For both men and women, if you want to have an easygoing night, just watch Netflix. Here are a few suggestions of what to watch on Netflix.
1. Stuck In Love
2. Clueless
3. Grease
4. Gilmore Girls
5. Hitch
6. Safe Haven
7. Along Came Polly
8. Parenthood
9. Scandal
10. Footloose
Happy Singles Awareness Day!
