Miss Coffee offers various drinks, caffeinated beverages and pastries to enjoy. It is right next to Mr. BBQ, a restaurant by the same owner, and is currently having their soft opening.
Considering that the Starbucks on Chapman Avenue is always filled with people from nearby schools and businesses, it’s nice to have more places to accomodate the overflow of demanding students looking for somewhere to study.
The cute coffee shop has somewhat of a contemporary design with an open layout including tables along the sides and a large communal rectangular table with benches that can fit a good 5-10 people, which is nice for a large study group. A perk to their location is being secluded from the main street of continuous traffic, but the downside is the loss of natural light from being in a back corner.
It always brings a little extra comfort to see latte art on a drink that you’re about slowly sip on whether it be through studious work or over good conversation.
Their drinks weren’t overly sweet nor were they too cold, which is sometimes the struggle with coffee shops. Their best treat of all is the Portuguese sausage croissant.
Although the barista had to warm up the croissant twice and still wasn’t fully confident on the temperature the second time, you can’t deny the salty cheese and sausage combination with the flaky, buttery perfection of the croissant. It’s something you won’t be sorry you tried.
With another coffee shop added to a close perimeter of Fullerton College, it’s safe to say that Miss Coffee provides just the experience that you may be looking for in a local place.
Miss Coffee is located at 305 N. State College Blvd. Suite B.
