The evening appropriately began at Revolucion 1910 Cantina. You can feel the taco Tuesday energy as soon as you enter, mostly likely due to the taco bar that you have to pass in order to get in the place. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican taco night in downtown than $2 Coronas and freshly made tortillas for your carne or el pastor is where you want to be. Revolucion’s happy hour is Monday-Friday from 2-6 p.m., where you can take advantage of $2 domestic beer and $3 Margaritas.
A short walk across the street to the next location is worth the jetlag if you want a more laid back taco experience. The Continental Room offers $1 tacos all night, as well as their own drink specials. The laid-back vibe teeters away and briskly transforms into a salsa fiesta as soon as the DJ starts playing the music. They don’t have the best tacos so don’t go there for the carnitas but defiantly go there for the party. The Continental Room’s happy hour is all-week and you can grab a beer from $3.50 – $4.50, just get there before 8 p.m.
The last and certainly the favorite stop of the night was at the always happening spot, Bourbon Street. The freshly grilled taco that is layered with onions and cilantro is a scrumptious handful of savory wonder. You can actually see and smell the carne as they grill it up right in front of your very eyes on their classy outside patio. Enjoy the all you can eat tacos for $5 with the purchase of an alcohol beverage and you’ll be enjoying one of the best deal in all of Fullerton. Bourbon Street is sure to entertain your taco Tuesday needs with their margarita and shot specials and live entertainment from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Happy hour is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. and on Fridays from 3-7 p.m.
