According to Schulz’s office, he will be holding his first office hour of the semester from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 5. He will be hosting his office hour throughout the semester ob a bi-weekly basis.
Although no further dates have been given past Wednesday, Feburary 17 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m, Melinda Taylor, the presidents executive assistant, says the president is committed to continue the tradition despite his rigorous schedule.
“He’s scheduling them around his lunch hour right now… the days and times will change to accommodate students with different schedules,” Taylor said.
During the office hour, students, faculty and staff are encouraged to ask questions, express concerns, give ideas and share successes.
“I am committed to fostering a learning and working environment that is inclusive, promotes transparency, and provides opportunity to share different points of view as we all work together to serve our students and our community,” Schulz said.
There are no requirements to attend the open forum.
