P!nk dropped her first single in three years early Friday morning, and it was worth the wait.

The single, “Just Like Fire,” is going to be on the soundtrack for the upcoming Disney feature film, “Alice Through The Looking Glass,” starring Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway.

The single marks P!nk’s first written original song for a live action feature film. “Just Like Fire gives” us all a feel to what to expect from the movie.

The beat, the melody and the lyrics of the song takes us back to P!nk’s pop/rock days with her “I’m Not Dead” and “Funhouse” albums.

“Just like fire, burning out the way. If I can light the world up for just one day” is giving us all feels, and when I say feels, I mean nostalgia.

Her powerful and undeniably raw and soulful voice just makes listeners crave for some more of this music.

P!nk hasn’t released an album in nearly four years, and fans are excited to know if this single is just a tasteful peak to what’s to come in her seventh album.

The singer-song writer is not subtle either in teasing us with song writing in the studio, giving us hope that she’s working on something big this year.

The Just Like Fire singer is still not done dropping cryptic clues. Two weeks ago, the singer posted a photo on Instagram suggesting that she’s trying on new wardrobe pieces. Maybe for an upcoming tour for the long awaited seventh album?

Who knows? But whatever it is, she has something up her sleeve for her fans this year, and one thing’s for sure, we’ve miss her music, and she’s working on it.

All there’s left to do is to sit tight and wait for the official announcement for the album release.
