Finals week is just around the corner, which means long nights and loads of coffee to keep you up.

Fortunate enough, Fullerton College has plenty of nearby coffee shops to choose from.

The Hornet took the initiative in making it a little easier for you to pick which café would be worth your while.

By hitting up six coffee shops within a one-mile radius of FC, we conducted a blind taste-test challenge to decide who has the best tasting cup-a-joe.

We stopped by Starbucks, McDonalds, Classic Rock Coffee Company, Night Owl, McClain’s Coffeehouse and FC’s very own Stinger Café – which sells coffee from the brand “Seattle’s Best Coffee.”

The results were interesting enough…

Three staffers felt Stinger Cafe had the best coffee, two Classic Rock, two others said Night Owl, while only one said Starbucks.

McClain’s Coffeehouse had the worst feedback based on the taste of their coffee.
