Around The Hornet

The Around the Hornet Podcast is a show that shares sports news and provides opinions of college students on each given topic in sports. The co-hosts are award winning journalists Quinn Cisneros and Jake Rhodes, both of which serve on The Hornet’s Editorial Board, Fullerton College’s independent news outlet. “Around the Hornet” was recognized by the Journalism Association of Community Colleges (JACC) in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, receiving recognition from JACC after the show was brought back to life in March 2023. Cisneros has been involved with every episode of “Around the Hornet” as a host, contributor, and editor, while Rhodes has worked on every episode of “Around the Hornet” as a host, contributor, editor, and producer. He also appeared in 27 episodes of “The Rhode Show Podcast” as a host and moderator.
