4. Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum – Yorba Linda, CA.

A red carpet entrance will await your arrival at the Nixon Library. Every mom will receive a complimentary red rose. Placed within perfect view of the ocean, guests can enjoy breakfast options such as muffins, croissants and french toast. Or you can indulge in the lunch menu delivering artisanal cheeses and unique seafood options. The event starts at 11 a.m. and prices vary according to dish.

6. Renaissance Pleasure Faire – Irwindale, CA.

Take a trip back in time at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire located in Irwindale, CA. Attend jousting tournaments, buy handmade leather goods, drink mead and even have tea with the queen. To make the day even more festive, dress up in your favorite Renaissance attire. The Faire is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and tickets are $35 each.
