Celebrate mom this Mother’s Day in Fullerton

From fancy brunches to decadent teas and relaxing and adventurous settings, here is a list of activities to share with your mom on Mother’s Day.

1. Fullerton Arboretum – Fullerton, CA.

Invite your mom to a Mothers Day brunch amidst tranquil gardens and lakes at the Fullerton Arboretum. Enjoy English scones with Devonshire cream, peach bellinis, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and other delicious options. The brunch starts at 10:30 a.m. and is $55 per person.

2. Springfield Banquet and Conference Center – Fullerton, CA.

Choose from a large selection of teas served at the Spring Tea Garden luncheon. Guests can choose from a variety of teas, scones and finger sandwiches. Located at 501 N. Harbor Blvd. Fullerton, CA. 92832, mothers can enjoy a simple celebration. Times are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and seating is $55 per person.

3. Coyote Hills Golf Course – Fullerton, CA.

The vast golf course off Bastanchury Road in Fullerton provides a picturesque setting for their annual Mother’s Day champagne brunch. It begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.

4. Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum – Yorba Linda, CA.

A red carpet entrance will await your arrival at the Nixon Library. Every mom will receive a complimentary red rose. As you sit under three magnificent chandeliers in the White House East Room replica where guests will be served an array of delicious brunch options to choose from, including shrimp cocktails, salmon, Applewood smoked chicken apple sausage, Belgian waffles, Mediterranean vegetables and a decadent dessert table. The newly designed exhibits are also available, along with the Marine One helicopter, President Nixon’s birthplace and the beautiful First Lady’s gardens. The festivities start at 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Adults are $70, kids ages 2 to 10 are $25 and kids under 2 are $10. Gratuity included. Bring your “Sunday best” attire.

5. Driftwood Kitchen – Laguna Beach

If you’re interested in venturing out of the area, you can head on over to the beach. Driftwood Kitchen in Laguna Beach will host your family’s Mothers Day celebration. Placed within perfect view of the ocean, guests can enjoy breakfast options such as muffins, croissants and french toast. Or you can indulge in the lunch menu delivering artisanal cheeses and unique seafood options. The event starts at 11 a.m. and prices vary according to dish.

6. Renaissance Pleasure Faire – Irwindale, CA.

Take a trip back in time at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire located in Irwindale, CA. Attend jousting tournaments, buy handmade leather goods, drink mead and even have tea with the queen. To make the day even more festive, dress up in your favorite Renaissance attire. The Faire is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and tickets are $35 each.
