College’s annual Kinder Caminata is just around the corner. The office of Special programs along
with other clubs, programs, and staff of the college collaborate to put
together this marvelous event for over 1,800 kindergarten students and
their families from around the community. There are over 40 college
career stations and activities spread throughout campus for the children
to get hands on college experience in many of the career choices
available. Current students also volunteer in helping them get motivated
about college so that hopefully decide to continue on with their
education after high school a look to a better life. After all the whole
point of this event is to show and teach children at a young age all
the great opportunities and career choices to choose from.
