St. Patrick’s Day Hot Spots

Every year on March 17th, St. Patrick’s day is a celebrated with drinking, eating, partying and a lot of green. It is a day to honor St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland’s death, who brought Christianity to the Irish.

Therefore, on this day people are able to drink and eat to celebrate without going against religion. The reason people have to wear green is because according to Irish legends if you don’t wear green you’re going to get pinched by a leprechaun.

That’s why people pinch you as a reminder of the leprechauns roaming around. So raise your drinking cups and wear something green to follow tradition.
