Munchie Monday Review: Black Bear Diner

Located less than a mile from Fullerton College, the Black Bear Diner is cozy, comfortable, family friendly and perfect for all age groups.

If you’re a salad lover than their Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad will do the trick. The salad is covered with all kinds of fresh, healthy and delicious toppings that a salad should scream for.

Listed at $12.49 this salad is topped with crispy chicken croutons, thinly sliced tomatoes, avocado, bacon, egg, onion and blue cheese, with your choice of dressing.

Also, they have an excellent grilled cheese under their “Little Less” category on their menu for just $6.99. This grilled cheese is stuffed with even more cheese than most others, so you’re not going to be disappointed.

If you’re into Tuna, they have a tasty Tuna melt sandwich that is listed at $8.99. It’s served on grilled Rye bread with cheddar cheese. As for taste, it was like biting into a really moist, not too fishy or cheesy sandwich. From the first bite you can taste the cheese with the tuna. The sandwich overall is an excellent choice.

Under their “Little Less” category you have five side dishes to choose from, which are: french fries, sweet potato fries, cole slaw, green salad or a cup of soup.

While eating their sweet potato fries, from the first bite, you get that sweet potato taste. It wasn’t overly fried or salted. If you’re not into sweet potato fries then they have their regular French fries that are also very satisfying as well. Whether you choose the sweet potato or their regular fries you won’t leave questioning yourself on why you chose either of them to eat.

The Black Bear Diner will leave you wanting more of their incredible food. From their Chicken Cobb salad, Tuna Melt and their very cheesy Grilled Cheese their menu options are for everyone. You won’t leave with an empty stomach. Give The Black Bear Diner a try, why not?
