The spirit of Halloween goes back over a thousand years ago when the Celts believed that the living and the dead were joined together in spirit. Christians called November 1st All Saints Day also known as All Hallows and October 31 marked as All Hallows Eve.

The Christians celebrated the saints that have died and others who died for their religion. Over the years Halloween has better known as the day of free candy, scary movies and celebrating the night with games like bobbing for apples.
