In the 80s going to the arcade was one of the most popular ways for kids to play video games. As time progressed and the release of the Atari 2600 arcades started to dim away from the spotlight.

In July 2016 Steven Torres opened Lost Levels in Fullerton, CA after the success of Super Video Game Bros in Diamond Bar, CA. Torres wanted to expand his video game business to Orange County and brought along Matt Vasquez an employee at Super Video Game Bros becoming business partners.

Lost Levels is located in Downtown Fullerton on the corner of Harbor blvd and Amerige Ave.

The arcade offers a wide selection of games with up to two dozen arcade machines including a Dance Dance Revolution and other various gaming consoles.

Traditionally arcades are coin based, but at Lost Levels their arcade machines can be played all day for $10. Customers can also host parties at Lost Levels and rent out private two hour sessions for $250.

Lost Levels also has a diverse library of retro games, consoles and accessories available to purchase. Customers can bring in their retro games and sell them for cash or trade them for other games.

A majority of their games were released before 2005 and their oldest video game dates as far back as 1980. Lost Levels really banks on the nostalgia that people have for playing these older games.

“We really cater to the nostalgia that people have for playing these older games,” said Matt Vasquez.
