Weekend sports recap 10/18-10/19

Women’s Volleyball

Fullerton volleyball keeps the win streak alive extending to eight games in a row. The Hornets dominated Santa Ana college in three sets 25-23, 25-14, 25-13.

The Hornets will look to keep the streak alive, as they take on the tough Irvine Valley college on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at home at 6 p.m.

Women’s Soccer

The Hornets took on Cypress college at home and yielded the same results as their previous game ending in a tie 1-1. The Hornets have hit a stretch of tough games and have gone 0-1-2, in their last three games.

The Hornets will look to rebound on Tuesday Oct. 22, as they return home to take on Golden West college at 3 p.m.

Men’s Soccer

Fullerton has been on a three-game win streak and looked to take that momentum into their matchup with cypress. The men tied with Cypress in a score that mirrored the Women’s team 1-1.

The Hornets will head on the road on Tuesday, Oct. 22 to take on Golden West starting at 3 p.m.

Men’s Water polo

The mini tournament in Santa Monica saw the Hornets have success at they beat San Diego Mirmar 14-5 and Southwestern 17-8.

Hornet’s Football has hit a rough patch after a 45-42 loss to the Cerritos College Falcons. Fullerton has lost the last three game by 3 points or less.

The Hornets will take on Palomar at home this week on Saturday, Oct. 26 in hopes to right the ship.
