How covid-19 affects local businesses in Downtown Fullerton

Downtown Fullerton is usually thriving with flocks of customers but since the pandemic of the coronavirus many businesses are shutting down until further notice.

However, there are still some shops that remain open to serve their community during this trivial time. Some of these shops include Burger Parlor, Lost Levels and Matador Cantina. These businesses are all aware of the public’s fear of contracting covid-19 and are taking the necessary precautions to keep their businesses operating in an efficient manner.

Lost Levels has its arcade closed but people may still buy/sell/trade games. Playing video games at home can be a great way to pass the time until schools reopen for most.

Burger Parlor and Matador Cantina are both taking extra steps to ensure their facility can be as clean as possible. Matador will be open today for St. Patricks Day and is still operating at normal hours.

“We’re wiping everything down every 30-60 minutes or whenever we have free time. We also are making sure bathrooms are stocked up and hand sanitizer stations are full,” said Oliva, bartender at Matador.
