Take out Thursday: Satisfy your cheesy cravings at Let It Brie

Located in Downtown Fullerton, Let it Brie has all of the delicious snacks students might be missing out on since campus closed. Takeout or dine-in options are currently available, however, it is highly recommended that students choose takeout due to COVID-19.

They offer a variety of cheese assortments, paninis, salads and baked brie. Everything contains cheese, but none of it tastes the same or gets boring after a while.

The Caprese Salad includes tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese all drizzled with the shop’s own Balsamic vinegar. The taste of the dry, peppery basil against the sweet mozzarella cheese tasted great with the tomato adding a burst of fresh juicy flavor.

The Caprese is the perfect lunch for someone who wants to eat healthily and still feel refreshed and full at the same time.

The two-item cheese board was so delicious. It is perfect for an at-home snack/appetizer with family for a movie day. Everything had a variety of flavor and it took three people to finish this perfect family-sized platter.

It contains two choices of meat and/or cheese, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, apples, grapes, figs, dried apricot, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, Gherkin pickles, white chocolate covered pretzels and some fig jam with crackers.

The Baked Brie is definitely made for those who would prefer to eat a filling lunch or dinner, with apples, bread, crackers, and cheese. This take-home Brie dish is an exciting experience and can help pass time at home.

The instructions were to set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, bake for 25 minutes and enjoy! It is so cheesy and creamy. It tastes amazing when the Balsamic Vinegar is drizzled on top.

This is the type of take-home food others can enjoy on a rainy day when they crave comfort food or a lazy day. It is very filling and fresh.

As for affordability, this was able to feed a family of 4. The total came out to $49. The Caprese was $8, Baked Brie was $15 and the two-item cheese board was $23.
