There’s such a large variety of plants available, it’s hard to only take one home at the fall plant sale on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The 2023 fall plant sale, put together by the horticulture department at Fullerton College, was held from Nov. 4 to Nov. 5. Guest Speaker Carlos Ruiz gave a short lecture about how to grow native plants in dry climates, touching on topics from watering patterns to lighting situations for indoor and outdoor plants. The sale featured drought-tolerant California native plants local to the college and surrounding neighborhood.

“A lot of the plants we have here are cuttings from around the school and the neighborhood that we propagate and grow into new plants,” said Ashley Signorelli, a student intern in the horticulture department.

This photo essay shows the togetherness that plants brought to FC this weekend.
