After an intense matchup against Santa Barbara City College, the Vaqueros commanded the matches all the way through versus Fullerton, leading to a season finale win. Hornets freshman Felix Jayamaha gave his opponent a good run, defeating him in the singles match. Even his opponent complimented some of his impressive saves on the court. Another freshman to keep an eye out for next season is Michael Lumang who finished off his season with a win. The Vaqueros (5-6, 2-4) were getting a little rowdy on their end. No officials were in sight at this non conference matchup so rules were not fully enforced. There was a lot of frustration on balls being fair. Both sides argued with each other and coaches were told to coach their own team. This match ended in a sweep with a score of 9-0, concluding the last set of matches in the regular season. Fullerton finished the season with an overall record of 5-11 with a 1-7 record in conference play. Fullerton will next play individual matches on April 4 in the Orange Empire Conference Individual Tournament as a time has yet to be determined.
