Jensen said she had the distinct honor and privilege of being employed at Fullerton College and expressed her gratitude saying how “absolutely blessed” she’s been.

Jensen is someone who encouraged students to reach further than they imagined by inspiring student leaders and directing campus events.

She emphasized that one of the most important things a student can do while in college is to get involved. There are many opportunities out there for students to take advantage of and being involved in school and within the community can greatly impact one’s success socially and academically.

Jensen said the best part about her 30 years at Fullerton College was the students. The reciprocal connection that she had on helping student progress is something she will never forget and always cherish. It is also one of the things she will miss the most.

She has bittersweet feelings of leaving behind something that has been a part of half her life but felt that it was the right time to move on.

“I look forward to making up for lost time with my husband, children, family & friends…getting healthier, enjoying a Hawaiian cruise and being available for whatever the Lord has in store for out lives,” Jensen said.

Lastly, Jensen wanted to reiterate one last thing before leaving FC, “once a Hornet… always a Hornet!”
