No more classes, no more homework and no more last minute procrastination. After cramming for final exams and focusing on deadlines, school has come to an end and finals are officially over for Cal State, Fullerton students.

For students that means time to sleep in, hang by the beach and relax all summer long but before the students can look forward to that they must celebrate by participating in the traditional annual undie run.

CSUF holds many events but but this is one of the bigger events that hypes up the students because they look forward to it all year. Most students even go out of their way to purchase the perfect undergarments. Even though it’s one of the shorter events, everyone attends and has the best time.

The annual undie run usually starts at 10 p.m. The process of the run involves the students walking to the back of the school by the baseball field and as soon as the clock strikes 10 everyone runs to the front of the campus.

The run usually only lasts for about 15 minutes and as soon as the students get to the front, they take pictures and mingle with excitement. There’s a large variety of different undergarments the students wear because there are no rules on attire as long as the students aren’t completely nude.

Some students wore workout attire, bra and underwear, speedos, briefs, boxers, or just regular clothing. A variety of students ran with bluetooth speakers to amp up the crowd of students before and during the run.

After the run the students danced and chanted celebrating the end of school and gave out details of parties to keep the night young.

“The run was such a rush and everyone had such great energy now I’m ready for the after parties,”said Genessy Encinas a sophomore.

Police were on campus to control the crowd. Last year, there was a problem with students taking off their bras and standing on benches revealing themselves more than they already have.

Students were thrilled that school came to an end. For the students who are graduating, this was the last event before their graduation on Sunday.

“College can be frustrating and stressful at times but at the end of it all it’s worth every second and I’m going to truly miss college but hey tonight I celebrate,” said Blake Ross a graduate.
