‘Tis the season… to be spooky.

With Halloween quickly approaching, there will be many events that will take place throughout various communities.

There are many events happening that can accommodate people of all ages. From family friendly festivals where one can go bobbing for apples to haunt attractions that will scare many visitors, there is something for every one to do.

ANAHEIM

The city of Anaheim has its annual Fall Festival that include a costume contest, a doggy costume contest, Die de Los Muertos Exhibits and a Halloween Parade. All the festivities will begin on Friday, October 23 and continue until Sunday, October 25.

Building Occupational Opportunities (BOO!) is an organization that helps underserved adults with training in construction. BOO! will be opening its doors to the Motel 6 Feet Under Haunted House. The haunt runs from October 9 through November 1 and admission price is $15 each or two tickets for $20.

BUENA PARK

Knott’s Berry Farm will transform its theme park for the 43rd annual Knott’s Scary Farm. This year will include three new mazes and by popular demand, the interactive Special Ops: Infected-Patient Zero. Also, returning to Knott’s Scary Farm is Elvira’s Assylum.

For a more family friendly festivity, there will also be Knott’s Spooky Farm. This event will offer trick-or-treating, a dance party and spooky mazes along with arts and crafts.

FULLERTON

For those looking for a truly paranormal approach, the city of Fullerton will be having its Haunted Fullerton Walking Tours. This tour is not recommended for children under 13. The tour will be two and a half hours of walking throughout Downtown Fullerton and exploring the legends and stories that surround the area. Tours are Wednesdays and Thursdays through September 9.

LA HABRA

The Children’s Museum at La Habra will host a festive Halloween morning on October 31. There will be crafts for children, games, story telling and a costume parade. Admission is free for museum members.
