Oktoberfest is Coming to Anaheim!

The Phoenix Club invites the community to celebrate Oktoberfest at their Anaheim banquet hall starting Sept. 16 – Oct. 30.

The festival will highlight German culture and customs. Featuring live music performed by German bands, folk dancing, beer on tap, and much more.

Opening weekend will include special events such as the official Keg tapping, Opening Parade and free polka lessons. Every weekend will have an array of entertainment such as knife acts, dance performances, jugglers, and Twist and Shout balloon twisters.

Live music will be performed by Odenwäder Dirndljaeger, Jason Fabus, Allgäu Yetis, and The Express Band with MusikMeister DJ.

Adults are encouraged to participate in the beer-drinking and sausage-eating contests which are held every weekend. For the final week of Oktoberfest, winners are invited back for a final challenge and a chance to win cash prizes.

For younger guests, the children’s playground and activities are available every day. Sundays are Family Day and include free choo-choo train or fire engine rides, bounce house, and $5 pony rides.

Admission, food and drink tickets are on sale now through Oct. 30 at the Phoenix Club Office. Office hours are Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Wednesday and Friday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., and closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Adult admission is $10, Phoenix Club members with card are $5, and 18 and under are free. Sept. 23-25, will be military appreciation weekend, and active or retired military get in free with military ID, which includes one free guest pass.

Oktoberfest festivities take place on Fridays from 6 p.m. – midnight, Saturdays from 5 p.m. – midnight, and Sundays from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
