The Color Run comes to Huntington Beach

Bathe yourself in tropical colors at The Color Runs Tropicolor World Tour Nov. 19, 2016, at Huntington Beach, California.

The Color Run is a five kilometer untimed event, and once the run is completed, the fun continues at the finish line.

The 5k run is all about having fun and promoting a healthy life style. With tropical style music and bright color, while running pass palm trees with a delicious island scent, it is easy to promote health and wellness.

The event will have new zones such as the Tropicolor Zone on course and a new Rainbow Beach at the Finish Festival.

Since March 2011 The Color Run has brought the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet.”

It is the original paint race and now the single largest event series in the world.

Participants have called The Color Run family friendly and super tropical.

“It was seriously the best day. My friends and I had a blast,” said a color runner.

The event is open to all ages. About 75% of color runners are 18-35 years old.

“My favorite part was the party at the finish line that had super cool photo ops, music, and a beach area with cool vibes!” said a color runner.

As a for-profit event management company, The Color Run partners with charities to help highlight the causes they stand for.

To join the fun Nov. 19 register online at their website. There are three kits to choose from, Classic, Classic +, and Deluxe.

All kits include a white Color Run t-shirt, headband, color packet, and temporary tattoos.
