iF About Us

Inside Fullerton is made by the magazine production classes at Fullerton College, under the guidance of student editors and advisement of journalism professor Jessica Langlois. In addition to digital content, we publish a glossy print magazine every December and May presenting news features, profiles of local residents and businesses, fashion & lifestyle content, photo round-ups, advice, personal essays and more.

Inside Fullerton was started in 2002 by resident Morgan McLaughlin as a hyperlocal news source designed to provide residents with information about all things that happen in the great city of Fullerton, California. It built an audience through its calendars, event listings and popular annual Easter Egg hunt within the city. In 2016, Morgan and her family moved out of the area and passed the reigns of Inside Fullerton off to her friend and Fullerton College journalism professor Jay Seidel. The site was redesigned and has been relaunched to provide the community with more news and information, while still providing its audience with event listing and happenings within the community.
