Take-out Thursday: Hapa Cupcakes & Cakes are delicious and contactless

If students are getting that sugar craving right now, they should immediately head over to Hapa Cupcakes & Cakes for their sugar fix. They have a large selection of cupcakes and ready-to-go top of the line cakes to choose from.

This is perfect for students, parents or families who want to celebrate their birthday at home during the quarantine without touching anyone.

After trying four cupcakes, Vanilla, Chocolate, Unicorn Funfetti and a special St. Patrick’s themed cupcake, it was irresistible mentioning how adorable the cupcakes initially looked. The packaging is so Instagram-esque.

The first cupcake was a plain vanilla cupcake with rainbow sprinkles on it. Biting into it, it tasted like iced cookies. It was just delicious and had the perfect ratio of frosting to cake.

Next was a double chocolate sprinkles cupcake. Warned ahead of time by Hapa, it was going to be very chocolaty and it was! If some students are chocolate lovers and they need their fix, this one is perfect for them.

The third was a Unicorn Funfetti sprinkles cupcake. The frosting was an infinite rainbow of colors. However, biting into it, there was so much frosting that the taste of the cake was hard to find. However, the cake part was cooked wonderfully.

Last was a limited edition green mint chocolate chip funfetti sprinkles cupcake. It seems like a lot and it was a mouthful. Upon eating, some people might wonder if it’s too much but should come to understand that this was the purpose of having this cupcake. It was light, tasteful flavors that exploded in the mouth.

The takeout service works so that an order can be placed online or by calling in. When the order is ready for pickup, customers can call Hapa Cupcakes again to inform them that they are parked outside. Then, customers have the option to either have an employee bring them their order to their car or the customer can walk in and grab the order and go.

As for affordability, it was priced fairly well for eating a stack of gourmet cupcakes. Each Cupcake was $3.75 and the total came out to $15.25. When customers visit, one cupcake should fill them up well.

Hapa Cupcakes and Cakes is located on 105 W. Amerige Ave. Fullerton, CA 92832. They are currently open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Customers can place an order over the phone at (714) 576-4272 or order online at http://www.hapacupcakes.com/
