Officers boxed-in the vehicle at a traffic light on Orangethorpe Avenue and Iowa Place and immediately drew their weapons.

The officers instructed the suspects to put their hands in the air but the driver of the SUV did not comply. The driver accelerated forward, crashing into the unmarked black truck, speeding down Orangethorpe Avenue heading east and immediately turned left onto state Route 57 heading north.
