“It tastes like homestyle pizza, not frozen like many other places taste, you can definitely taste the fresh ingredients,” loyal customer Eric Valdez said.

Many customers enjoy Big Slice’s calzone and pepperoni pizza. As well as the popular chicken fettuccine and alfredo sauce pizza, which takes the longest to make because of the fresh ingredients involved in the mixing and baking process.

“You can taste the seasoning,” Naomi Washington, another loyal Big Slice customer said, “the sauce is what distinguishes the pizza from local competitors.”

Customer Jessica Sanchez, former employee, understands the hard work that goes into making a hand crafted pizza with fresh ingredients.

She appreciates Big Slice for the way they make their crispy bread, seasoned sauce and toppings baked to perfection.

A customer favorite, a small pepperoni pizza with BBQ wings.

Big Slice opened its doors on Harbor Blvd. in 2001.

The inside is filled with red and black paint that compliments an exposed brick wall and a pool table sits on the patio with lights hanging from above.

“The patio is used frequently during the weekends, specially on Fridays when people come to eat and drink,” Big Slice manager, Rafael Calles said.

The Big Slice employees and management are actively involved in the community, giving back to schools and offering meals at low prices.

Since Fullerton High School and Fullerton College just minutes away from the pizza parlor students come in daily.

Big Slice Pizza has worked along side schools for years now and have even catered everything from meetings to fundraisers.

Calles hopes continue to advertise locally and expand their website and have special offers for schools.

“Our main focus is the local community, we want to continue catering to them and the students of Fullerton,” Calles said.

Visit their website to see the menu and even place an online order at this DTF favorite.
