Dylan Arreola, Editor-in-Chief
Dylan Arreola is the Editor-in-Chief of The Hornet Newspaper and has been on The Hornet for three semesters. He is a three-time award winning journalist, receiving recognition from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges (JACC) for Online Photo Essay and his contribution for Multimedia Journalism Package, as well as recognition from California College Media Association (CCMA) for Best News Series. During Dylan’s time as Editor-in-Chief, The Hornet earned its second consecutive ACP Online Pacemaker Award, which has been referred to as the “Pulitzer of college media.” Additionally, The Hornet received recognition from JACC for “General Excellence: Online News Site.” His goal in journalism is to become an international correspondent reporting on stories and issues around the world. When Dylan is not working, you can find him rock climbing or playing with his cat, Richard Parker.
