Dreamers rock out LA

LOS ANGELES – New York rock band Dreamers had the whole room dancing as they performed to a sold-out crowd at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

The trio kicked off the set with their debut single “Wolves (You Got Me)”, which was released back in the summer of 2014 and was later included on their debut album “This Album Does Not Exist” that was released in August 2016.

The band got their start in New York when lead singer Nick Wold met Nelson, who would later provide backup vocals and bass. It was after relocating to Los Angeles and signing a record deal with Fairfax Recordings that the two met the final member, drummer Jacob Wick.

Since then, Dreamers has been hitting the charts on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation with their indie-rock vibe.

Currently, the trio is on the road with Night Riots and The Maine on The Modern Nostalgia Tour, and are helping to pump up the crowds with their fun-rock tracks.

Sliding from the beachy vibes of “Little New Moon” into the wildness of “Shooting Shadows”, the band had the room bouncing and bobbing to the beat.

Wold was all grins and sway as he strutted from time to time across the length of the small space – his excitement seemed to match those of the fans closest to the stage. Everyone was having a good time.

The crowd roared louder as band transitioned into their cover of the Cranberries’ “Zombie,” which had someone in the crowd screaming “Holy shit, yes!”

Wold hit Dolores O’Riordan’s notes almost perfectly, singing out “In your head, in your head – zombie.”

The band closed out their set with the popular single “Sweet Disaster”, giving an ode to the 90s pop-punk vibes with more of an electronic twist.
